Anyone want to explain the logistics of the RB30DET to me?

Is this just an RB30 block with a 25/26 head? With my lack of mechanical knowledge, I have no idea how easy/feasible swapping the head would be.

The extra displacement probably comes from stroke so swapping the head is probably easy because I bet the blocks share a similar architecture. I don’t know though. The ford contour SVT had a 2.5 duratec and you could swap in the duratec 3.0 under the heads and make more power so this seems feasible to me!
